There’s something special about this time of year here in Spain.

All week we’ve been watching the Easter celebrations unfold – Semana Santa

The streets filled with tradition, reflection, and community

A powerful reminder of how deeply rooted some things are

And at the same time…how quickly life moves on

This year, as all of that was happening around us, we packed up and headed across to Portugal

To spend Easter with some of our closest friends

Friends we first met online many years ago and who, like us, have built their lives around the freedom that an online business can bring

It was one of those weekends you wish you could slow down just a little

Long walks along the coast (although some felt more like mountain goat climbing than relaxing strolls 😄)

Fresh air, sunshine, and over 10,000 steps without really thinking about it

And of course good food, great conversation, and plenty of laughter

But what we always enjoy most on these weekends is the conversation

The chance to step back, to look at things differently

Share ideas and perspectives

Even though we work in different markets, there’s something refreshing about seeing things through another lens

And often… that’s where the best ideas come from

What really stood out to us on the drive back home to Spain was this:

This lifestyle didn’t happen by accident

It was built over time with intention

And with a willingness to do something different

The freedom to travel, to explore, to spend time with people who matter

The freedom to live life on your own terms

Not someday…but now

And perhaps the most interesting part?

While we were away enjoying the weekend…

People were still discovering what we do…

And even getting started 😀

Which is always a lovely reminder that when you build something the right way,
it continues to work quietly in the background
