This is Dmitry Badiarov’s story. How at the peak of his career as a renowned violinist and following a major stroke and no longer able to play professionally he became a teacher. No ordinary teacher mind you. Overcoming all odds even though he can no longer play professionally Dmitry teaches aspiring instrument makers how to create instruments that stand out from the crowd just as he has done with his beloved violin.

This Is Dmitry Badiarov’s Story

Like many of us these days circumstances force us to change our lives for any number of reasons

When Dmitry learned the devastating news that he was unlikely to play the violin again, he felt as though he had had his purpose ripped away from him.

At the time in the depth of despair he was unable to see a future for himself but encouraged by his wife (also a talented musician) he realised he could in fact generate an income teaching something he knew and was passionate about – instrument making. He has now gone on to make a name for himself in this new niche.

We’re beyond proud to have played even a small part in his journey but it’s a reminder to absolutely anyone looking to start a business of any kind
